120 YEARS IN THE MAKING

You can build a lot of trust, relationships, and projects over the course of 120 years. Founded in 1898 by Ed Haas, Haas & Haynie’s roots in land development and construction run as deep as any firm in the United States.

Over the next 80+ years, Haas and Haynie was entrusted with pivotal projects including the dredging of Pearl Harbor beginning in 1901, and large-scale reclamation, irrigation, and flood control projects throughout the country. During the 1950s and 1960s, the firm earned a reputation as a blue chip builder with a penchant for successful projects.

Haas and Haynie’s current Principal and CEO, Paul Fay, joined the storied company in 1980. Under Mr. Fay’s guidance, Haas & Haynie refocused its energy and resources on land development and construction management.

In the ensuing years, Haas & Haynie has established itself as one of the nation’s premier developers of luxury resorts and highly-amenitized residential communities.

We built our reputation on a proven record of initiation, control, and guidance of every phase of the development process- taking projects from raw land to built-out and sold properties.

We consider the land we work with to be a precious resource, and we take pride in seeking out its highest and best use. Our development plans are based on diligent study of environmental constraints, government regulation, market conditions and the inherent physical traits that make each property special.

By consistently delivering well-conceived projects, on time and on budget, we have developed strong investment relationships that allow us to act quickly and decisively as opportunities arise.
